Crux II, the second work in the Crux Series, continues my exploration of natural and human-made materials. A rough granite form is elevated atop a tall, tapering bronze structure.
The cast bronze horn reflects my growing interest in the spiraling geometry of animal forms. Horn, stone, and bronze come together in a vertical, almost emblematic configuration, balancing organic form with constructed structure.
